Why do I need a car wash? Many of us have enough experience to know that washing your car is an integral part of owning a car. We all know it's important, but if someone asked you "Why do I need a car wash?", would you be able to provide an answer other than aesthetic reasons?

In reality your cars exterior will start picking up a lot of pollutants such as dust and grime when you're driving on the roads. The grime and other particles will slowly chip away at your vehicle’s coat and paint. This will eventually expose the sheet metal beneath, this is especially alarming in areas of the car that you do not see or inspect routinely. During the winter months it's especially true in areas where it snows. The reason being the use of salt as it's a great solution to melt the ice on the road, however the salt will also aid in damaging your cars exterior. Once the paint is gone and the metall is exposed, the rust will kick in. As it starts eating at the metal, it will not stop which is why you need to address it. Dealing with rust can be a very expensive ordeal.

In a nutshell the above mentioned is why car washes are so important. Not only will your car look great, but proper auto detailing care will maintain its paint while keeping the rust at bay.
